Adventure week us a week of classic road trip activities. Climb a mountain? Check. Raft a river? Check. Soak in a backcountry hot springs? Check. Fly fish? Yep. Rock climb? You know it. Grow your faith? Absolutely! This do it all trip crams a whole summer of fun into 6 unforgettable days. If you have to slave away this summer at a summer job then make sure to kick your summer off with this short trip before you hit the grindstone.

Choose your Own Multisport
Multisport trips can include any of the activities we provide. Groups can choose from activities such as; rafting, mountain biking, fly fishing, peak bagging, hiking, backpacking, kayaking, rock climbing, rappelling, mountain scooters, zip lines, and canyoneering. Choose your own adventure and have stories for a lifetime! If you can dream it, we can probably do it!

Pack & Paddle Adventure
Pack & Paddle is a popular combination of one of our 5 or 6-day backpacking trips with a half or full day of white water rafting on the Rio Grande river outside of Taos, New Mexico.

Wilderness Skills Training
Have you ever wanted to go on bigger adventures but don’t know where to start? Maybe you have been hiking your whole life and want to take it to the next level. Maybe you’ve dreamed of being a wilderness guide (we are always hiring). This trip is for you! This week-long adventure was designed around teaching you the skills you need to know to be a backcountry slayer. You’ll learn the skills needed to enjoy various backcountry activities safely and effectively. This is a great trip for those who have been on a few outdoor trips but want the skills needed to safely to enjoy deeper, longer, and more exciting adventures. As with all of our trips you will not only have a great experience but grow your faith as well. This trip is “hands-on” so don’t expect to sit in a classroom all day. Nature is our classroom and most of the skills you will learn will be tough on the trail, in real life situations.

Physical Demands
Wilderness adventures may require physical stamina and conditioning beyond what you are used to. Here are some tips on what to expect and how to condition your mind and body so you have an awesome experience.
What to Bring
This is not your average camping trip and so the packing list is a bit different than our regular overnight camp. Pack thorough, but light, as you’ll be carrying these essential things with you as you hike.
What not to Bring
Not to be a downer, but this is wilderness camp, baby! Off the grid. Enjoy it. Here’s your list of items to leave at home. Yep, cell phones are on it. You’ll have no use for them anyway.
Getting To Basecamp
Our base camp is located in Glorieta Camps outside of Santa Fe New Mexico. The address is 11 State Highway 50 Glorieta NM 87535. When you get to the gate, just tell them you are with Wilderness Trek.
Health and Safety
The spiritual, physical, and emotional well being of every camper is our top priority. We’re here to fulfill all their safety and nutritional needs.
Financial Aid
We have a limited number of scholarships due to the generosity of donors who make it possible. If your camper is in need, please apply early.
Code of Conduct
We’re here to have fun, build each other up and encourage others in love! But there are a few behaviors that just won’t fly at Wilderness Trek.
Cell Phones / Devices Policy
There is no app for this. Stop, listen and look around. Nature is amazing! Enjoy it while you can. Please leave your cell phones and devices at home.

Our staff is made up of a bunch of fun, friendly people who are also serious about providing you with the best adventure ever. Each day they demonstrate their passion for serving Jesus Christ through leading by example and with a cheerful demeanor. All of our staff goes through three weeks of dedicated training that includes wilderness First aid, Backcountry travel and safety, Child Protection and safety, and spiritual awareness and formation. All of our staff and volunteers have also been screened for safety and have had background checks.

There are fun things to do everywhere you turn! Glorieta is built for fun and adventure and you'll find all sorts of outdoor activities designed to make your time at our basecamp breathtakingly exciting.
Health & Safety
The physical and emotional wellbeing of our campers are top priorities. Meals provide proper fuel for active bodies and every facility and activity is designed, built, staffed and maintained to eliminate chances for injury.
